While slowly burning out as a teacher, I realized I desperately wanted more opportunities to be creative in my daily work, and decided to leave public education for entrepreneurship.
I never thought I'd stop being a teacher, and really, I haven't. My passion for teaching music to high school students has now just transferred over to teaching others how to rock their social media game or create the podcast they've always dreamed of.

When Ev is not creating copy & graphics for her clients, she is likely learning how to bake a better loaf of bread, how to turn a quilt into a sweater, or how to use her fave video editing software with more precision (any other Final Cut Pro lovers out there?).
